With this group of works, I think about how random acts can generate the whole/ the uncut and unabridged whole, something that feels complete.
What apparently is random, creates our sense of reality, our perception of the whole.
At times, one can question what is apparently random and delve into cause/effect which as a result also creates a sense of the whole. This happens in real world, in literature, and I, fortunately (and auspiciously), am able to create with this in my work.
Working in this way creates surprises, generates new ideas and builds upon itself with layers. |
